Becky Kelly�s exquisite and intimate watercolor illustrations are inspired by countless childhood days at play in the wooded hills of her native West Virginia. Becky began her career at Hallmark Cards where she became one of the company�s best-selling greeting card artists. Love this series of little books!
Excellent choice for Baby Girl gift....when born, a "first Holiday", even for first b'day. Can't go wrong with Becky Kelly as an illustrator!
I bought two of these books for gift giving - the page edges were all marked with black magic marker. So I cannot use them for gifts as I intended. I am disappointed.
Sweet gift for a baby shower or for a newborn. New Moms seem to enjoy and appreciate it. Pictures and narrative are very sweet.
I just love Becky Kelly, I have just about everything she has ever put out, and when I saw this book (and Snips and Snails) I had to buy both, one for each of my children, a girl and a boy. The illustrations are unbelievably beautiful, peaceful, sweet, adorable, the text is sweet, I could go on and on. I just love Becky Kelly's artwork! I'm creating a keepsake box for each of my children to give to them when they grow up and am thinking about including these books, along with their Becky Kelly photo albums, baby book, etc. You get the picture. :D
I love the book itself and all of Becky Kelly's books, thus the 5 stars. But be warned about Bargain Books. The "small mark" by the publishers was a 1 inch plus black permanent marker placed on the edge of the pages; very noticeable.
